Director of Sales
HERBAL WATER® (www.herbalwater.com), a
premium beverage company, is the maker of the brand
"Ayala's Herbal Water®", the leader in
herb-infused water. Herbal Water is known for its innovative and
unique flavors and is a well respected lifestyle brand with healthy
growth.
We are looking for a full time, exceptional, hard working and
experienced Director of Sales.
Position is available in Wynnewood, PA in the Main Line area (15
minutes west of Philadelphia).
Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with key
accounts
- Ensure high penetration of strategic distributors through each
territory
- Develop and gain approval for merchandising and marketing
strategies to grow business at existing accounts
- Create and communicate new territories development plans
- Forecast volume and spending budgets
- Ensure flawless execution of all strategies and promotions
- Achieve monthly distribution & volume targets within
budgeted trade spending
- Monitor progress versus target and proactively adjust plans as
appropriate
- Execute store-level plans to ensure proper retail conditions;
ensure shelving, pricing, merchandising and marketing objectives
are met
- Manage retail broker force to ensure proper retail conditions,
including fast distribution
- Understand customer, environmental and competitive dynamics
within the territory
- Represent the company at industry, community and promotional
events
Qualifications
- College degree (B.A or B.S)
- 3-5 years proven track record of successfully selling to food
& beverage customers (natural channels a big plus)
- Experience and contacts in the beverage business
- Self-starter that is highly results oriented and willing to
work in all aspects of the selling process
- Professional demeanor with proven sales results
- Strong communications and interpersonal skills
- Excellent customer presence
- Consistent follow through on all aspects of the business
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
