Rose geranium is native to southern Africa and is widely admired
for its beautiful pink flowers and the romantic floral note of its
sensuously scented leaves. Even though the name of this
African herb is "geranium" for its resemblance to the well-known
flowers, it actually belongs to the Pelargonium genus,
which includes different scented herbs such as rose, coconut,
nutmeg, and citrus. Given its pleasing scent, rose geranium
is often found in potpourri arrangements.

Culinary Uses of Rose Geranium
